BLANK PAGE / GETTING STARTED
You're In The Right Place 💛
If your teenager sits staring at a blank page saying...
"I don't know what to write."
...I want you to know something.
They're not alone.
In fact, this is probably the single most common struggle I saw during my years in the classroom.
It rarely means they don't have ideas.
Usually...
they simply don't know how to get those ideas out of their head and onto the page.
The good news?
This is absolutely something that can be taught.
Over the next few days I'll send you a few simple strategies that make getting started feel much easier.
No pressure.
No overwhelm.
Just practical ideas you can try together.
🎁 Today's Quick Win
Next time they freeze...
don't ask,
"What are you going to write?"
Instead ask,
"Tell me one thing you already know about this topic."
Starting with speaking instead of writing often unlocks ideas much more easily.
See you in your inbox tomorrow.
