We want every parent and teen who joins The Classic High School Teacher community to feel confident, supported, and genuinely excited about the learning journey ahead.
Because our products are digital and accessible instantly after purchase, we have a few clear guidelines about when refunds or store credits apply. Please take a moment to read this policy before completing your order.
1. Digital Products and Courses
All of our toolkits, downloads, and online courses are digital in nature and are delivered immediately after payment. For that reason, refunds are not available once access has been granted, except where required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
If a product is found to be faulty, misrepresented, or not performing as described, please contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will either repair, replace, or refund the product as required under New Zealand law.
2. The Success Story Guarantee
We love celebrating the progress families make using our programmes. Our Success Story Guarantee exists to reward genuine effort and positive outcomes — not to compensate for dissatisfaction or negative experiences.
To qualify for the 100% store credit:

You must complete the course or toolkit in full and provide evidence of participation and completed work.
 - 
You must share a genuine, positive success story describing your teen’s progress or results, posted publicly on our official Facebook page, The Classic High School Teacher.
 - 
The story must reflect a constructive and encouraging tone that aligns with our community standards.
 
Posts that are primarily critical, negative in nature, or promotional of alternative services will not qualify for the Success Story Guarantee.
All submissions are reviewed by our team to ensure they meet these criteria before store credit is issued.
We believe that when parents and teens show up, do the work, and use the tools consistently, results happen — and we’re proud to stand behind that promise.

How to request your store credit.

Email our support team within 14 days of purchase with your post link and evidence of completed work. Once verified, we’ll issue you 100% store credit equal to your original purchase price — to use toward any other product in our store.
 
Store credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a cash refund. It can, however, be applied toward future purchases, bundles, or new releases.
3. Change of Mind
Because access to all digital materials is instant, we cannot provide refunds or credits for change-of-mind purchases or accidental orders. Please read product descriptions carefully before buying and reach out to us if you’re unsure which resource is right for your teen.
4. How to Request a Refund or Credit
All requests must be made by email to info@theclassichighschoolteacher.com.
 Please include:
- 
your full name and order number
 - 
the name of the product or course
 - 
a brief description of the issue (or your Success Story Guarantee claim)
We’ll respond within five business days and outline the next steps. 
5. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.Â
